Cardiac Markers has assembled a team of renowned medical researchers, practicing physicians and software developers to bring this new technology to life. Our founders have experience building medical companies, launching new diagnostic ECG equipment, and leading sales teams in the medical equipment and financial services areas.

Peter KirwinPhD, Chief Technology Officer

Peter has a strong history supporting technology development for start-ups and SMBs. His experience spans the medical device, retail, energy, and education sectors. He uses developmental evaluation to help groups from early-stage start-ups to large firms use data to navigate rapidly evolving contexts. Peter holds a PhD in program evaluation from the University of Minnesota, an MA in education from St Mary’s University of Minnesota, and a BA in physics from the University of Minnesota at Morris.

Bruce RollieFounder and Chief Executive Officer

Bruce is a serial entrepreneur with experience spanning several company start-ups, multiple medical device product launches, and a history of guiding organizational enhancement efforts including corporate structure, technology integration, and mergers and acquisitions.

Carl HortonFounder and Executive Vice President

Carl has founded two medical device companies and spent his entire career in product
management, sales, and marketing in the medical device sector.

Newt RumbleMember and Chief Financial Officer

Newt served as vice president of Peterson and Associates, a Vancouver, Washington-based accounting firm prior to retirement as a CPA in 2022. Newt has advised companies and business owners with corporate strategic plans, mergers and transitions, and complex tax planning. He has also served in numerous board and leadership positions with medical and educational foundations, as well as trade associations within the public accounting profession.
